Audi A6
September 1 brings a new numberplate - and a number of all-new cars to choose from. Here's a run-down of new models on sale this autumn; order now, and you could take delivery by the end of the year.
BMW 3 Tourer

Deliveries of the new A6 saloon and Avant start mid-October. Two new engines - an economical 2.0 TDI and a supercharged 3.0 V6 TFSI petrol - plus modified suspension and steering. The RS6 now comes in saloon form too. A5 coupe gets new 180bhp 2.0 TFSI engine, A4 the 170bhp 2.0 TDI; sales of Freelander-beating Q5 SUV start in September.
BMW
Updates to the 3-Series include extra chrome exterior trim, new LED tail-lights, new body kit and widened track, plus the latest Efficient Dynamics tech, revised iDrive system and a new 245bhp straight-six diesel for the 330d. New options include daytime running lights. The 3-Series Coupe and Convertible will be offered with the new seven-speed double-clutch gearbox. Minor mods and new options for the M3, M5 and M6; xDrive50i joins X6 line-up. All-new 7-Series is on sale mid-November.
Cadillac
New-generation CTS saloon goes on sale 1st September. Diesel doesn't come until next year, though.
