RachelEaudeToilette : Hey, So apart from Lost what else have you been in (e.g. T.V programmes, Films...)?
Ian Somerhalder : Shooting two films; The Sensation of Sight and Pulse (out in March) - I am currently in NY in an off-Broadway play called "Dog sees God: confessions of a Teenage Blockhead" - I’m having a blast.
dizzy dan : Boone You Kick Butt! I love your work in Lost and also love your modelling, you’re a great actor! Now that Lost is near its end, and you have been sadly killed off (I actually cried) what do you plan to do next, more acting or more modelling or maybe something new??? Ian Somerhalder : Thanks man. I will definitely follow up Lost with as much film, TV, and theatre as possible. I’m currently living in New York doing a play called Dog Sees God.

Ian Somerhalder : I do truly miss it, but I am loving New York and go back to Hawaii when ever I can!
Grinch : Do you also live in Hawaii permanently now like a lot of the rest of the cast? If so what's it like and if not where are you based?
Ian Somerhalder : I was fortunately living on the island but am now based in New York.
RichardAM : In Lost you shared a lot of scenes with Maggie Grace who played your stepsister Shannon. How well did you get on in real life with Shannon and was she easy to work with?
Ian Somerhalder : She is one of my favourite people in the world and it is wonderful working with her. She’s a truly talented, hard-working and giving actor.

Ian Somerhalder : Terry O’Quinn is one of the coolest cats I’ve ever come across. One can learn much working with such a master.

Ian Somerhalder : I was sad but it turned into a very positive experience…

Ian Somerhalder : I do have some keepsakes from the show. Pieces of debris from the plane, and many photos.

Ian Somerhalder : No we didn’t.

Ian Somerhalder : Kissing Maggie Grace…

Ian Somerhalder : Chocolate.

Ian Somerhalder : It’s not the worst thing that could happen to a fellow.
LoSt'S nO.1 fAN : I was so upset to see Boone die in "Do no Harm". There are so many people that enjoy Lost, did you ever think it would become as big as it has?
Ian Somerhalder : It had potential, however it grew by leaps and bounds and is great to see and have been a part of.
Jessica : Will you be coming back to lost in the flashbacks and what are you working on at the moment.
Ian Somerhalder : I may come back, who knows.
Lost Rocks : Did the writers ever give anything away about the forthcoming episodes?
Ian Somerhalder : Not really, they’re smarter than to tell blabbering actors anything unless it’s absolutely necessary.

Tasha : did it ever feel odd wearing the same clothes over and over again on set?
Ian Somerhalder : Yes, but they were usually clean.
lee1984 : How did you feel when the writers told you that boone was gonna be killed?......ps you did a wonderful job playing boone.
Ian Somerhalder : I was a bit sad but it was coming to one of us anyway. To be honest, since it was such a great experience that I was lucky to have in the first place, I took it fairly well.
topsy_29 : what kind of music are you into?
Ian Somerhalder : Indie rock mostly but tonnes of music from punk to jazz.
Charliesgal : Are you surprised at the amount of hype that Lost got or did you know it would be a big hit all along?
Ian Somerhalder : We hoped that it would be something great and it was!
Tessa : how long did you spend in Hawaii to film the first series of lost?
Ian Somerhalder : One beautiful year.

Ian Somerhalder : I’m coming in February to Manchester.
Liv* : How did you prepare for your (very good) death scenes??
Ian Somerhalder : It was the most intense and miserable few days of my career. Matt Fox and I are so close and it felt as though I was really dying and leaving the island a tangible metaphor, if you will.
