Our afternoon schedule is working well so we are not looking for ideas between 3.25pm and 5.00pm. However, we are looking for new ideas for the 5 o’clock slot, to fill the gap left by Richard and Judy.

Ideally, we would like a half hour show to compliment Come Dine With Me, which we are likely to run at 5.30 when Paul O’Grady is off air. We are open to ideas for quizzes, factual entertainment formats and talent led studio shows. However, Wogan’s Perfect Recall has shown that quizzes can work particularly well in that slot, so it’s fair to say that we are probably more interested in quizzes or fact ent shows than talent vehicles.

The criteria for all shows being submitted for this slot is that they must be able to be stripped and will punch through in this increasingly competitive part of the schedule. You need to feel that your idea is strong enough to hold it’s own against The Weakest Link, Goldenballs and Neighbours.

The tariff for this slot is between £25-£30k per 30’.
