The COMEDY LAB is C4's unique televisual comedy experiment experiment, responsible for launching the careers of some of Britain's favourite comics - from Trigger Happy TV's Dom Joly to Peter Kay. This year's season includes an eclectic mix of animation, comedy performance and innovative writing. COMEDY LAB goes out every Thursday.

In the abstract world of THE POOTERS book club the bestsellers' list is left well alone. There are far more interesting things to discuss, like 1970s biker fiction (with special guest SIR PATRICK MOORE) or a guide on asphyxiation to a wounded enemy. Not forgetting the sex scene read from the latest Titchmarsh novel or THE POOTERS' weekly choice section with such heady titles as a recent biography of Mick Hucknall. Special guests also include Zios the Hydronoid.

Written by and starring CHARLES SKELTON ("The Earl") and ALAN CONNOR (Former presenter on "The Word" and now a brilliant but obscure academic). The programme is directed by ROB KATZ, whose previous credits include "BRASS EYE" and "JAM".

THE POOTERS is produced by Talkback.
