Who doesn’t love a good festival? Dancing! Sunshine! Your favourite bands! ‘Special’ Tizer! Although (putting it mildly) it isn’t always sunny in England, festivals across the Channel are a virtual sun-fest. If you’ve ever been to Benicassim in Spain or Rock Am Ring in Germany you know that you’re pretty much guaranteed amazing frolics in the sun. Although it might be an idea to pick up some local lingo while you’re there.
Travelling the world having a great time in loads of exciting destinations is what the rich ‘n’ famous and T4 are all about. It’s a tough life, eh? But if you were a music fan wanting to travel across Europe where would you go? Well here are a few ideas:
Spain
Wouldn’t it be great to say ‘Hola!’ from the country that brought us Enrique Iglesias, his mole and hosts some of the best festivals in the world?
France
France is known for its love for all things cultural and music is no exception. Air, Daft Punk, Camille and some great French Rap/Hip Hop have all come from the land of the baguette.
Germany
Germany is not all about an unabashed love of David Hasselhoff you know. In fact, their music scene is amazingly eclectic; a fact reflected in their many music festivals which pay heed to their love of cheesy techno.
