Battle of the Islands
This week, new arrivals Lauren, 20 and Essex girl Diva spend the first half of the week on Tiger Island. Diva immediately forms strong bonds with the Tigers whereas Lauren feels overshadowed by her fellow new arrival and in comparison, struggles to bond with the tribe as well as Diva does. When the girls move to Shark Island for the rest of the week, Lauren feels more at home and decides Shark Island is the island for her.
On Tiger Island Tom is unhappy and really misses his best pal and fellow original, Shark Danny. Despite Carly’s efforts to talk through his problems, Tom admits to the group he doesn’t want to be a Tiger and that he intends to move to the Sharks at the first opportunity. Tom can only put himself up for nomination when there are 6 or more people in the Tiger tribe so to enable him to nominate this week, Tom hopes Diva and Lauren chose Tigers. If Tom were to go, despite it meaning the tribe would be one down, Susan and Jack make it clear they would be happier without him.
At the beach party, a determined Lauren pulls out all the stops to persuade Diva to pick Sharks. Diva tries to stand her ground but eventually gives in, and as a result is the fourth person sent “home”.

The Third Island
The fourth person to arrive on the third island, Diva is in shock when she is met on the beach by Nick, James, Char and Sarah. Despite concerns about the harshness of the island, Diva is thrilled not to be going home and gets stuck into Third Island life.
James and Nick are very pleased with their new arrival and feel she fits in significantly better than Sarah. They like her down-to-earth approach and notice that, despite her girly appearance, she mucks in with the chores and building and is proving herself to be an asset to the team.
Meanwhile, although initially excited to have another girl on the island, Sarah is spending even more time alone in the tent. Sarah says she feels unwell and her negative attitude towards island life is starting to annoy the other self-named Hawks.
