What’s the best thing about being home?
Seeing my family and friends, using hair straighteners and eating chocolate whenever I like and that is honestly it! Send me back!!!!
What do you miss most about island life?
My island family. I miss them all so much! I really didn’t expect to miss them like this when I came home. You become really attached to people very quickly out there. It’s hard to wake up and not turn to see everyone in the morning. I also miss sleeping on the beach under the stars, I loved doing that, even more than I love my bed!
What was your most memorable moment?
The food! And especially lamb’s tongue- It’s worse when you happen to have been given a bit that still looks like a tongue! eurgh!
Worst part of the Shipwrecked experience?
My girlies! Lottie and Diva. My two best friends! Lottie’s the business, my rock out there! What a girl!
Who did you get on best with?
I honestly miss everyone!
Anyone you won’t miss?
No.
Who did you fancy?
Diva! The first moment I woke up and she was spooning me, I knew then it was love! No but seriously, all the boys were hot but id say Tom caught my eye the most.
Would you do it all again?
I would without a doubt do it all again! Even the bad times looking back were good. I still wish I was there and could have stayed for longer
Would you recommend it to anyone else?
I would recommend it to everyone! Even if you don’t think you could do it, if Diva did it then you can! GO DIVS!!!
How has the experience changed you?
I have grown up so much and my confidence has soared! I don’t think it’s possible for you to change in a negative way from being out there. You learn to be more considerate towards others and realise that you can’t put yourself first. I think I’ve picked up positive things from all of the Hawks, we were all so different but that only made the experience even better for me. I realise that one of my positive aspects to my personality is my ability to get along with everyone no matter who they are or where they’re from.
Was being “shipwrecked” what you had expected?
I never expected it to be such a life changing experience. You don’t expect to get so attached to your island family and for it to be such an emotional rollercoaster. There were some difficult times but the good times far outweighed them. I’m so grateful to have had the opportunity to be shipwrecked.
What does the future hold for you now?
Who knows?! I’m considering taking over the world with my new found confidence!! I’m moving down to London with the girls and I’m going to take it from there so watch this space!!!
