What’s the best thing about being home?
I’m absolutely loving the fact that I can just eat what I want, when I want. Ok maybe I’ve put a stone on in two weeks but it’s all good! People ask why im eating so much junk food…simple answer…”because I can”. Another obvious one for me is seeing my family, especially my ever so gorgeous sister Nicole.
What do you miss most about island life?
Im struggling to live without lambs tongue, I miss it immensely. It became my stapled diet and now im having to eat burgers, chips, pasta’s and all this good food…it pains me. But seriously, I miss waking up on an island where life is so simple and im surrounded by beauty (hot girls of course) oh yeh and it’s quite picturesque too.
What was your most memorable moment?
One of my most memorable moments was after the first beach party when I finally stepped onto Tiger Island, realising we had an island we could call our own. I’ve got so many other moments which were memorable for different reasons.
Worst part of the Shipwrecked experience?
The only thing that I thought was hard was not seeing my family and friends. It’s crazy to think how much you take simple things like quick conversations with friends and just generally being able to see who you want when you want, for granted. Sleeping, sweating, sleeping, sweating in the same sleeping bag for months was also disgusting.
Who did you get on best with?
I spent a lot of my time at first with Mr Collins (Jack) and as the weeks progressed Iovane (Matt) and tricky Ricky got involved in the banter and we formed a little group. For me I got on best with Matt but then again I also got on really well with some of the girls, mainly Diva and Adelina.
Anyone you won’t miss?
I wont miss those people who I never had the chance to spend a lot time with. I definitely won’t miss Matt’s farts, Susan’s burping and farts and Vicky’s foghorn of a voice!
Who did you fancy?
I did think a few certain ladies were hot- Hawk girls Brie, Adelina and Lottie, but I only really fancied one girl; Sarah Sole. Gorgeous and funny.
Would you do it all again?
Hell yeh! Dye my hair, change of style, fake tash, chestwig and a dodgy brummy accent and im on it!
Would you recommend it to anyone else? I’d definitely recommend this to everyone. It truly has been the best experience of my life so far.
How has the experience changed you? It’s made me realise a bit about my own character/personality. It has definitely made me appreciate the smaller things in our everyday life like, toilet seats!
Was being “shipwrecked” what you had expected? Yes and no. Yes, it was full of hot girls in bikini’s and no because I didn’t realise how hard it actually was to live the lifestyle at times - when the weather was bad and we had nothing to do except eat cold tomatoes and cold sweetcorn out of a tin for a whole day.
What does the future hold for you now? Well…I can’t see myself teaching for much longer, as I reckon the constant barrage of questions from kids would be a nightmare in the classroom. So a change of career may be in order.
