Taste of London will return in 2009, please register below if you would like to receive information
Seen as 'One of the World's greatest food festivals' (Time Magazine, October 2007) Taste of London hosted over 40 of the capital's top restaurants in the glorious surrounds of Regent's Park on 19-22 June 2008.
Restaurants including Le Gavroche, L'Atelier du Joel Robuchon, China Tang and Café Anglais served up signature dishes in sample sizes and world class, Michelin starred chefs including Tom Aikens, Angela Hartnett, Gary Rhodes and Atul Kochhar showed off their renowned culinary skills.
This year's fantastic features included the Taste Theatre where you watched and interacted with all your kitchen heroes. In the Taste Kitchen you found your favourite chefs and food writers running fabulous demonstrations and tastings, celebrating the very best of British food.
And for the first time ever, 2008 saw Taste of China offer a unique culinary journey through China showcasing the nation's best food, drink, destinations, cultural arts and entertainment.
Orient-Express showcased London's only restaurant on wheels for the first time at the Taste of London 2008 festival. The Northern Belle travelled from Birmingham, Liverpool, Manchester and Stoke, on Saturday 21st June, bringing food-lovers to Regents Park to sample the best of British cuisine, in celebration of Orient-Express's involvement with the Taste of London Festival.
This year's festival was visited by world famous chef and food campaigner Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall. Hugh's new River Cottage Spring programme is on C4 at 9pm on Wednesdays.
