Frank Warren is looking forward to seeing the new improved Amir Khan when he defends his WBO Intercontinental lightweight title against Breidis Prescott at Manchester's MEN Arena.
Neither Khan nor his opponent had an difficulties weighing in under the 9st 9lbs maximum limit for lightweights at the Arndale centre in Manchester, with both registering in at 9st 7.5lbs.
The Pride of Bolton insists he will be "untouchable" after a couple of fights under Cuban trainer Jorge Rubio, who joined Team Khan for the first time ahead of the contest against the unbeaten Colombian.
Warren, Khan's promoter admitted, like the fans who will turn up in their thousands to see British boxing's biggest prospect, he has yet to see what Khan has learned over the last couple of months.
He said: "I haven't seen Amir work out under Jorgio so it's going to be the same for me as it will be for the fans.
"I want to see what he brings out. Trainers can show you lots of things but it's whether you take it on board and learn from it. Hopefully, that's what he can do.
"There is a lot of pressure on him - Prescott is undefeated with 17 knockouts out of 19 so it is going to be a tough fight."
He added: "But if Amir is the fighter he thinks he is then he has to handle that."
Khan, 21, revealed Rubio has already tightened up his defence but believes there is much more to come from their relationship.
He said: "He has taught me so much in eight weeks and I know in another two or three fights, I will be untouchable.
"I am a quick learner, I pick up things quicker than most fighters and I'm young and hungry.
"It's been like a switch back to the amateur days, back to basics, with a lot of speed work. Everything's gone so well, I feel strong and fit and I've made the weight easier."
Meanwhile, fellow Lancastrian and boxing superstar Ricky Hatton has made a shock move by appointing Floyd Mayweather Sr as his new trainer.
The father of the Hitman's only conqueror, Floyd Mayweather Jr, will be in his corner for November's light-welterweight clash with Paulie Malignaggi
